So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

  • Notes
    • David's burial in Nauvoo is based on family traditions of the descendants of his children Mary Maria Fuller Cook and Hannah Elizabeth Fuller Bissell. No known "official" burial records exist for David. David's death info is included in Granddaughter Hannah Elizabeth Cook Hoyt's (1838-1911) Temple Ordinance Book. David's information was recorded later by Hannah, though she was 8 when he died and old enough to have known and remembered him. David's baptism in 1879, in St Georges Temple, also lists his death in Nauvoo.
