So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

      Marc,
I know you didn't quite ask for this but to clarify things I thought I would post the differences between the Thomas Barnes of New Haven and the Thomas Barnes of Hartford and Farmington.

Thomas Barnes B-August 26, 1623 in New Haven, New Haven, CT married Mary Elizabeth Andrews B-April 15, 1626 in Middletown, Middlesex, CT. She was the daughter of Robert Andrews and Grace ?. Their children were: Mercy, Martha, John, Elizabeth, Thomas, Abigail, Daniel and Maybee.

      My Father's Thomas:
Thomas Barnes B-Abt. 1619 he married first wife Mary ? Abt-1647. She was convicted of Witchcraft and hung. He married second wife Mary Andrews B-April 15, 1643 on March 23, 1662. She was the daughter of John Andrews and Mary Lilly of Hartford and Farmington. After Thomas died Mary Andrews married Jacob Bronson.

Children with first wife Mary were:
      Sarah married John Scovil
      Benjamin married Sarah ?
      Joseph married Abigail Gibbs

Children with second wife Mary Andrews (Andrus)were:
Thomas B-1665 Farmington married Mary Jones
Ebenezer B-1676 Farmington married (1)Deborah Orvis (2) Mable Hancox
