This was Garsinde's first marriage. It ended in a divorce.1,3 Divorce*1048Garsinde of Maine and Theobald III 2nd Count of Blois and Champagne were divorced in 1048. Thibaut III repudiated Gersende in 1048. If the bith date of Etienne is correct, then Gersende COULD be his mother. Or they could be one and the same person.4 Death*after 1048
