    • Holy Roman Empire Henry V died of cancer 25 May 1125. Childless. His only heirs being Empress Matilda and Frederic and Conrad of Hohenstaufen. Frederic of Hohenstaufen was then 25 and Conrad 22 years old. Frederic died in 1105, leaving two sons, Frederic and Conrad, whom their uncle, Henry V., kindly adopted.
