She was born in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Samuel and Belle Sorok a Novak. She was a member of Ohavay Zion Synagogue, Hadassah, past president of Ohavay Zion Sisterhood, past presiden t of the Board of Ashland Terrace Home, a member of the Transylvania Women's Club, the Central Kentucky Women's Club an d she was a lifelong Democrat. Surviving are two daughters; Nora Rose Moosnick and her husband Ted Schatzki of Lexingto n, Dr. Miriam Moosnick, Orlando, FL, two grandchildren, Louis Marek Schatzki, Helena Margit Schatzki both of Lexington , brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dr. Franklin and Marilyn Moosnick of Lexington. Mrs. Moosnick and her late husband , Dr. Monroe Moosnick were very much involved in the lives of Transylvania students inviting them to their house ofte n for dinners and fellowship. She was also preceded in death by a son, Les Moosnick D.M.D. Funeral services will be 1 1 am Mon. in the Lexington Cemetery conducted by Rabbi Sharon Cohen. There will be no Visitation. W.R.
