    • The Daily Journal, Macomb, Illinois Friday July 14, 1961 Column 8, Page 2. Mrs. Iris Newland, 75, of Macomb Dies Mrs. Iris Newland, 75, of Macomb, formerly of Colchester, died at the Johnson Nursing Home, 618 South McArthur Street, this morning. She had resided there the past 1 1/2 years and previously lived with a daughter, Mrs. Charles J. Miller, 1212 West Murray Street, Macomb, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel of Jones Mortuary in Colchester. The Rev. Richard Newhall will officiate, and burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Mrs. Newland, daughter of H. O. and Nellie Lawrence Rundle, was born Dec. 1, 1885 at Colchester and was a lifelong resident of the Colchester and Macomb vicinities. She came to Macomb 10 years ago. Her husband, Howard Newland, preceded her in death. Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Frances Miller, Macomb; two sons,Paul Newland of Alexander, Virginia, and Carl R. Newland of Decatur, Illinois and five grandchildren. An Aunt, Mrs. Stella Allison of Western Springs, Ill., also survives. Friends may call at the chapel after 6:30 p.m. today. the family will be a the chapel this evening. She is buried in the MILLIKIN - NEWLAND family plot Lot 9, Block 3 grave 2 on west side going south. Her parents were Henry Opie Rundle and Nell Lawrence
