So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

    • From Ancestral File (TM), data as of 2 January 1996. Temple work done a second time 17 Jan, 1995 at Provo, Temple Olive Viola was a cousin of James Campbell, a neighbor who lived in Clear Creek since he was six years old. (Kempton/Kimpton Families Life and Lineage of Jerome B by Margarite Kimpton Stevens, and Jan Stevens Lockard, printed by Stevenson's Geneaology Center, Provo, Ut) Bill was really good with horses. He could train them so that at the lift of his cowboy hat the horse would rear up on its hind legs. He was offered a movie contract, but turned it down because he was engaged to a Mormon girl who said not to take the contract. She then turned him down for marriage and married someone else right away. He never married nor had children. Living in the mountains he was never taught to read and write. He always had to get someone else to read and write for him. He was very smart. He was very serious about another girl in Richfield, Idaho and they had talked about marriage. She wrote to Bill, but Helen read the letters to Bill and wrote letters back for Bill. Then Helen took upon herself to write a letter telling the girl that Bill never wanted to see her again. Helen did this because she thought the girl to be wild and not good enough to marry her brother. The girl married a man later and was a really good wife and mother to the man she married. Without being able to read and write he was always at the mercy of someone else. After these two losses he started to drink and became "Wild Bill" an alcoholic and just roamed around. He worked on construction and as a cowboy. Bill was six foot tall, wavy brown hair, double row of long eyelashes that looked fake, and had even white teeth. He was broad shouldered and slim hipped and Della MacArthur, who I typed this story from the lips of, said he was one of the most handsome men she had ever seen. Aunt Della MacArthur said that she remembered when SHirley came to stay at her house. She was a young child at the time, but remembers her mother, Helen, being upset with her sister Shirley because Shirley had watched Stella's cattle without a coat on. It is after this that Shirley came to stay at Helen's house. He was very ill and died at there home being only around 17 or 18. Helen believed that he died of pneumonia from having been out so long without a coat. Aunt Della said she still remembers the bloody sheets that she saw after his death. His lungs had hemorrhaged. "Shirley died at the age of 16 of pneumonia while he was visiting his sister Helen over the Easter holidays."
