There is no mention of her first husband. In the City Directory of Keokuk, Iowa starting in: 1938 She is by herself 1940 Mary F. Mrs, by herself 1943 Mary F. Mrs & Harold Fluckey (actually Harold Pitts) 1945 Mary F. Mrs (widow of Jas S) Fluckey Her Will & Probate is filed in Lee county, Iowa and is listed as: Mary F. Fluckery on Page 106 in the books. Will Abstract There is listed as executor and Son: George Harold Pitts, Witnesses: Lloyd H. Henry and J. F. Hudson Then a son Clarence D. Fluckey, Sept. 7, 1880 - May 9, 1950. Then directly north of her is a stone (unreadable) which may be her 1st husband John Pitts. She was a member of the RLDS church The Keokuk Daily Gate City, Keokuk, Iowa, Thursday, May 11, 1950, page 2, column x: Mrs. Mary Fluckey Dies at her Home ... Mrs. Mary Fluckey of 1518 Estes Street, mother of Herold Pitts, died this morning in her home. The body was taken to the Schmidt Memorial Home. The funeral arrangements and obituary will be published later Monday, May 15, 1950, page 2, column 2: Funeral Services ... Mrs. Mary Fluckey. ... Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Fluckey was held in the Schmidt Memorial Home Saturday at 2 p.m. with Elder James C. Page of Nauvoo officiating. Music was by Mrs. Virginia Whiteside at the organ. The pallbearers were George Thomas, Ray Pilkington, Frank Hyndman, William Ackley, Willard Meyers and Frank J. McCoy. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery at Hamilton. The Women's Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars held a memorial service in the Memorial Home Friday at 8 p. m. with Mrs. Evelyn McArthur as president, Mrs. Mary McCoy as senior vice-president, Mrs. Blanche Brice, chaplain, and Mrs. Helen Swan, conductress.
