  SIR JOHN ARUNDELL VII (KNIGHT OF THE GARTER, UNDER SHERRIF, SHERRIFF, VICE-ADMIRALE OF CORNWALL, (KNIGHT) was born 7 January 1421, at Lanherne, Cornwall, England, to Sir John Arundell I of Bideford (1390-1423) and Margaret Burghersh (1399-1424.) He married (1) Elizabeth de Morley 25 April 1446; (2) *Catherine Chidiock 5 March 1451. He was Under-Sheriff, Sheriff, and Vice-Admiral of Cornwall. Sir John Arndell VII died 12 November 1473, at Latherne, Cornwall, England, at the age of 52. He was buried in Philleigh, Cornwall, England.
