So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

  • Notes
    • When Alfonso the Battler passed away after the battle of Fraga, in 1134 his will left Aragon-Navarre to the military orders of the Holy Sepulcher, the Hospital, and the Temple. This provoked a revolt among the nobility and provided the opportunity for Navarre to break from Aragon and become an independent kingdom again. The great nobles of Navarre gathered at Pamplona and elected a descendant of Garcia III, Garcia Iv Ramirez as King. He was known as the Restorer, and controlled essentially the same territory as Garcia III, except for Rioha. Navarre was closed off from the Arabs, which meant that expansion would be at the expense of the neighboring Christian kingdoms.
