    • Kay Bebee wrote of her father, Homer William Clinton Sr., "Dad was a hired man at a lot of farms near Lilliport, Iowa. Then we moved to Quesqueton, Iowa in 1942. We stayed there about 8 yeasrs. Moved to Independence, Iowa, worked on a turkey farm. Later moved in town and worked at the state mental hospital in Independence, Iowa, taking care of dairy animals. In later life Mom worked at "White Cafe" She was a very good cook. " Kay also said that her sister Patricia's daughter has her mother's genealogy books.
