      DEATH: Shirley was born on December 28, 1925 in Guttenberg, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Erma (Bolinger) Meyer.

      She married John Franklin Hyde on June 24, 1946. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1984.

      She later married Robert Heim on March 21, 1987 at Sacred Heart Church in Dubuque, Iowa.

      Shirley loved watching game shows, crocheting, camping and going to auctions. She was a lector, sang with Holy Cross, (Iowa) Choir and was a member of the Holy Cross Altar & Rosary Society for many years. She cleaned the priest home in Fillmore and Holy Cross (Iowa) after her retirement and was caretaker at Sacred Heart Church, Fillmore, IA.

      Survivors include her husband, Robert, children: Shirley (Glen) Loper of Viroqua, WI, Debra (William) Dotolo of Harrison, AR, Georgia Lindemann of Montgomery, MN, and Jeanna Meyer of Lakeville, MN, daughter-in-law, Nancy Hyde of Dubuque, IA, stepchildren: Ruth Heim of Roselle, IL, Thomas (Bev) Heim of New Albin, IA, Patricia (George) Penokie of Rochester, MN, Harold (Sherri) Heim of Manchester, IA, Alice (Dale) Roling of Dodgeville, WI, Rosalie (Russ) Sudmeier of New Vienna, IA, Brenda (Pat) Wessels of Dyersville, IA, Marvin (Laurie) Heim of Decorah, IA, George Heim of Dubuque, IA, Kenneth (Bonnie) Heim of Caladonia, MN, Frank (Michelle) Heim of Platteville, WI, Karen (Greg) Amadon of Seattle, WA, and David (Laurie) Heim of New Vienna, IA, 53 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, her previous husband, John Franklin Hyde, sons: Virgil Lee Hyde, Brian Hyde, daughter, Judith Edward Brauer, grandchildren: Robert Roling, Heidi Heim, siblings: Virgil (Mike) Meyer, Ronnie Meyer and Phyllis Meyer.

      Special thanks to the entire staff at Heritage Manor, Mercy Hospital and Sunset Park Place staff and residence for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

      Funeral services Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holy Cross, Iowa with inurnment in Bethel Cemetery, Osterdock, Iowa.
