    • Marriage License #253 performed by Oscar F. Ayies M.G. In 1881 they were living at Osceola Mills, Wisconsin when her father died. In 1902 she was living in Amboy. Her name was Lida and she died at the County Home. The Evening Telegraph, Dixon, Lee county, Illinois, March 5, 1914, page 1, column 5: Widowe Of War Sheriff Is Dead --- Mrs. Lida Treadwell Passed Away At County Home Today. --- Mrs. Lida Treadwell, wife of Lee county's war-time sheriff, passed away at 3 o'c;lock this morning, at the Lee County home, death being the result of old age and cancer. The reamins of the aged lady, who has witnessed much of the county's advancement, will be laid to rest, in Prairie repose cemetery, Amboy, tomorrow afternoon. Mrs., Treadwell was born July 2, 1827, and has been cared for at the home since April 6, 1911, her former home being in Amboy. She is survived by two sons, supposed to be in the west, from whom, it is reported by officials at the home, she has not heard for a number of years past.
