    • April 12, 1945 Thursday Taken from obituaries of the Browning Leader Record 1940 - 1949 Copied and Compiled by Genealogy Reseachers of Linn County, Missouri Alice Hale, the daughter of Julius and Frances Hale, was born in New York IL 12 February 1868 and died at the home in Purdin 6 April 1945. Very young, parents moved to a farm southwest of Purdin in Grantsville community. In 1936 moved to her own home. Her parents and brother John proceded her in death. Burial Purdin Cemetery.
