So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

  • Notes
    • Don Pedro was helped by Edward "The Black Prince" to recover the throne of Spain from his half brother. In payment for the service of England (1366), the Black Prince received a red stone (the balis ruby from Afganistan) instead of monetary recompense. The stone is now part of the Imperial State Crown made for Queen Victoria's coronation in 1838 and is worn by the Sovereign for the procession out of Westminister Abby after the coronation.
