So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

  • Notes
    • BCE (Beatrice Cannon Evans) wrote on picture of home: From this angle part of the original lot as it was south of the house is visible. When Ted (Edwin B Cannon) married, he built a nice brick house on this, which was removed for the highway.
At first this part was an orchard of various fruit trees--early June apples (too good eaten green) Jonathan apples, very large red plums, purple plums, prunes, and an abundance of pears. It was fenced, used for exercising the horses, and referred to as the "haddocks." In my childhood there was a fish pond at the east end into which water from a flowing well ran. It was filled with trout.
