So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

  • Notes
    • Modern history have commended the skill exercised by the men of the Lee family in selecting their wives. Anna is an example of what a young girl could do in those days. By her marriage to William Armistead of Eastmost River, Anna became the sister in law of King Carter, Ralph Wormeley, and William Churchill. The Cotillon Leaders of the Rappahannock in that era by this marriage she had a daughter, Mary who married Phillip Lightfoot. Member of the council, friend and cousin of Thomas Lee of Stratford. William Armistead died 1711, leaving anna with children; she than married William Eustace, who died 1740. From the Second union there were three sons, William, Hancock, and Isaac Eustace.
This family will later cross again thru Mary and Phillip Lightfoot.
