So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

  • Notes
    • Josiah Kilburn/Kilbourn Removed to Gilsum, New Hampshire, where he was one of the very early settlers, erecting a log house near the SW corner of that town in 1762. His name appears on the old Proprietors records as early as 3 Oct 1764, when he was chosen moderator of the meeting; this being several years before Surry was incorporated. So far as discovered he never lived in the township of Surry. Genealogical Register pg 735 History of Town of Gilsum, New Hampshire from 1752-1879 by Silvanus Hayward, AM and this record is also from G. H.: The Mack Genealogy: Surry records, etc. author of Gilsum History has devoted considerable space to Josiah Kilbur, which we will not repeat in this work.
